What is Advanced Folder Protector 2004?

Advanced Folder Protector 2004 is an application designed to restrict the access to your private
folders which contains valuable information for you (such as important documents, spreadsheets and reports).
If your computer is shared among other people, you can use Advanced Folder Protector 2004
to prevent other users except you from accessing your valuable files and folders.

The contents of the encrypted folders are encrypted with password which you supply and
cannot be accessed in any way. They cannot be viewed, read, copied, modified and even
deleted. Also the files are hidden to the eyes.

folder-size-reducing algorithm to reduce the size of your folders. When folder is protected it cannot
be accessed from nowhere Windows Explorer, MS-DOS or even Windows Safe mode. With its help
you can protect up to 2GB of data. Please do not protect more than 2GBs of data.
 

How do I protect a folder?

The simple way to do that is via Windows Explorer, just select a folder, press
right mouse button and select "Protect/Un-Protect This Folder...", then Advanced Folder Protector
2004 will start and ask you for password, click finish and voila - the folder is protected!

Is there a limit of the folders which I can protect?

No! You can protect unlimited count of folders. The shareware version of the program will give you the

How about the password? Is it stored somewhere?

Your password is not stored anywhere, it is used to encrypt the contents of the folder. The modern encryption
software uses the password as a key to encrypt the data. Also after you provide the password
